Logging in to VPS Hosting via the Virtuozzo Power Panel’s SSH connection enables you to securely access root command of your server. This is helpful for doing batch commands, diagnostics, and many other things.
To begin, first open the main screen of Virtuozzo Power Panel, then click SSH Connection on the left side of the screen. Once this pops up, you can then enter your login username and password. Be sure that you are running IE 5.0 or greater and have VPS running to ensure correct log in. Once the connection is established, you can now operate with full Linux commands and complete terminal access. Use the connection like you would if you were sitting at the computer; the traffic is encrypted both ways.
Once you are done using the SSH tunnel, you may simply type “logout” to end your session. A popup will appear asking if you want to try and reestablish a connection. Simply click “Cancel” to end your SSH session. Once this is done, you can go back to the main screen of Virtuozzo and continue your work. Remember to use SSH for sensitive information or other communications which you may not want spied on, as well as more complete control of the server.
